They are designed to be installed on the neck of a container in order to pump the product contained in it.
Compared to centrifugal semi-submersible pumps, the screw pump is capable of pumping high-viscosity liquids with solid inclusions, an emulsion in the form of water and oil, or a mixture of liquids with different viscosities, densities and inclusions.
The screw pump is capable of operating in self-priming mode from a depth of up to 8 meters and for short-term pumping of gas plugs.
Semi-submersible screw pumping unit type KMX B can be manufactured with a capacity of 0.5 m3 / h to 200 m3 / h and differential pressure up to 4.5 MPa (45.0 kg / cm2).
Depending on the operating conditions of the pump and the pumped medium, the semi-submersible pump can be manufactured in general industrial or explosion-proof design, corrosion-resistant or non-corrosion-resistant design.
