Kopi Luwak is the rarest, most expensive and most delicious coffee in the world. It is considered popular in Indonesia, and it is made on the islands of Bali, Java, Sulawesi and Sumatra. Luwak coffee is produced by a predatory animal named Musang, who loves to eat ripe coffee berries very much. Musang loves coffee beans so much that he often overeats, so most of them immediately enter his gastrointestinal tract. Coffee berries leave the gastrointestinal tract of the animal almost unchanged, only their shell is exposed to its gastric juice, which, in the local Bahasa language, is called Luwak. The coffee beans that have passed through the Musang are collected, washed and dried; after which they are fried, ground and served to the table exclusively for true gourmets, in the form of the same Luwak coffee. Our coffee is made in Bali, which is why it has a very special soft and delicate astringency and a very refined aftertaste of bitter chocolate.
