Electromagnetic (solenoid) steam valves normally closed 4911R-KBP GEVAX (GEVAX) are designed to control the flow of steam using an electrical signal. The valve is installed on the pipeline. While the valve is closed, the steam flow from the steam line to the consumer is blocked. After applying voltage to the valve coil, it opens, and steam from the steam line passes through the valve to the consumer.
Solenoid valves for steam of the 4911R-KBP series have a piston design. This makes them resistant to high steam temperatures (up to +180 °C). In this case, the steam should not contain particles and impurities that can contaminate the valve. Therefore, it is NECESSARY to install a filter directly in front of the valve. It is recommended to install a Y-shaped strainer with PTFE seals (or other materials compatible with the working medium and its temperature) with a filtration degree of at least 154 microns.
