Using the IFN-300/1 device, it is possible to measure the resistance of the "phase-zero", "phase-phase" loop and the transition resistance of contact connections. Using the data obtained, it is possible to identify malfunctions in group lines and carry out a set of measures in a short time to avoid serious accidents and fires.
Measurement of the "phase-zero" loop is carried out during acceptance testing of equipment at the request of controlling organizations or periodically - once every 3 years.
When measuring the loop resistance "phase-zero", "phase-phase", the device simultaneously measures the active, reactive and impedance of the loop, and also calculates the predicted short-circuit current without disabling the line protection. This is necessary to check the correctness of the set nominal value of the short-circuit protection element (circuit breaker or fuse) and determine the timely operation of this protection.
The device is powered by 5 AA batteries.
