The water seal ring prevents moisture from entering the insulation when the ventilation elements pass through the insulation pie.

If you simply make a hole in the membrane without installing a water seal ring, then the edges of the waterproof underlaying film (films) will sag and condensate will begin to actively enter and be absorbed into the insulation, as a result of which it will lose its insulating properties.

It is extremely important to use a water seal on metal coated roofs, where the temperature in the roofing cake can reach the highest values.

Product design features:

It consists of two identical parts, equipped with systems:

"latches" for slamming together;

"cloves" along the contour, additionally "biting" the waterproofing film;

"Strips"-clamps to the crate, having holes along their entire length.

Principles of installation and operation of the water seal ring:

- Using a “pattern” (template) or along the inner edge of the water seal, a hole is cut out for the inner diameter of the water seal in the waterproof film installed in the roofing pie;

- The water seal is closed by means of special “latches” along the contour of the hole cut in the waterproofing film;

- The water seal clamps are attracted to the crate, lifting the edges of the membrane, after which the water seal is fixed with nails or self-tapping screws to the crate;

- The water seal is installed with the convex side up.
