Principle of operation
Waste water enters the grease separator chamber through the inlet pipe. There settling of solid particles and coarsening of non-emulsified fats and oils takes place.
In the settling chamber, due to the difference in specific gravity, the final separation of fat particles from water takes place. The purified water through the distribution pocket, which prevents the ingress of fat into the sewerage system, enters the general sewerage network through the outlet pipe. So, fatty mass accumulates in the grease trap, which should be removed periodically.
