The sight can be used for hunting carbines such as "Tiger", "saiga-20", "saiga-20K", "saiga-410", "saiga-410K", "saiga-308" and others that have a bar for installing the sight on the left side of the receiver.

Use a power supply battery — LT14250 B5 or CR2 can be replaced with a similar one (not included).

The aiming mark and the target are located in the same plane, which allows you to aim with both one and two eyes, providing an unlimited field of view.

The electronic collimator sights "KOBRA" implemented the following principles:

simplicity-the sight is easily and quickly installed on the standard bar of the weapon using a standard clip;

reliability — the sight is designed for shooting from smoothbore and rifled weapons with powerful cartridges, including 12-gauge ("Magnum", 7.62×54.30–06);

convenience — wide range of brightness adjustment of the aiming mark — 16 steps;

versatility — 4 sighting marks — depending on the target, shooting conditions;

memory effect — settings for the brightness level and the type of sighting mark are saved and automatically restored each time the sight is turned on.

The sight has the possibility of rapid discrete adjustment of aiming angles and side corrections. All units are placed in a lightweight, impact-resistant, sealed case that eliminates the ingress of moisture and dust.

The use of "KOBRA" sights increases the effectiveness of shooting at moving and fast — moving targets by 2-3 times, and at stationary targets by 1.5- 2 times.

The scope can be used for shooting in the dead of night with glasses or night vision devices.

The scopes are tested in CRI "Tochmash" — the leading Russian enterprise on development of special purpose products, certification testing at the FGUP NTO "special Equipment and Communication", a field trial in the special forces "Falcon", military tests in the reconnaissance units and special purpose of internal troops of the MIA of Russia.

More than 50 companies take part in the contest every year.
