VALMA electromagnetic pneumatic pilot valves of the PIV-SB series are designed to control rotary pneumatic actuators with return springs, pneumatic valves and other pneumatic actuators with one-way action (with return springs). These pneumatic valves are pneumatic control valves of the spool type. Unlike direct-acting valves, spool-type valves have significantly higher throughput while maintaining low energy consumption. This allows the use of the PIV-SB series valves to control large pneumatic actuators or in cases where high actuation speeds are required.
